Ahh a sabbath

Day off today. Ahh a sabbath. This Expedition requires effort and meticulous planning which only happens when one is rested thus a sabbath is needed- Uh hum shall I say directed by the All Mighty. I must say it's my favorite commandment to obey by far. Not like those other ones about not eating hard shell fish and sending the menstruating women outside the city. Those are no fun a all. But back to today. Alas I thought it we be a ho hum day of lavishly doing nothing but then a Robert Gullay Saturday Night Live skit by Will Farrell came to real life. I had a staring contest with a big horn ram by our laundry room.

You me staring contest go...you win you ALWAYS do.

Then as I was doing my laundry

I met a Scottish lady who lived in Canada and used to be a cyclist. I told her about my trip across Canada on my mountain bike and we instantly became BFF's. She came over and met Dane. She liked him. I'm beginnin to think ALL women like Dane but that's for another blog. Remind me at some point to tell the story about The restaurant manager who sort of offered Dane her employee yesterday. Yeah ackward was a good way to describe the whole thing.
But this Scottish lady was named Carol.

She dug our hammocks and seemed genuinely surprised at how we roll. It was fun talkin to her but when she told me she rode 350 miles in one weekend it made me think she might have had a few cycling accidents in her day. You know- the kind that happen with no helmet on and you get a little Dain Bramage.Im kidding. She is super firnedly and cool and quite and adventurer.

The owner of the restaurant blessed us with some soup tonight. Check it out

Nonetheless we are rested and ready to roll maƱana. Hasta la bye bye
